RE: multiple domains, multiple mailbox

Hi Subhas,
Thanks for your reply.
Here are the answers to your question:
1. You create additional e-mail address via the Recipient Policy for users,
this will not cause problem on Exchange:
2. When user bob@xxxxxxxx sends e-mail with From bob@xxxxxxx, the sent
e-mail will appear in "Sent Items" in bob@xxxxxxxx 's Outlook. This is
expected behavior.
To save the sent e-mails to a central location, we can create a new mailbox
(such as Archive) to save them. Also, we need to create a Outlook rule in
bob@xxxxxxxx's Outlook.
1. Start Account's Outlook
2. Click Tools -> Rules and Alerts
3. Click New Rule, Select Start from a blank rule
4. Select Check message after sending and Click Next
5. Set the filter on "Subject" or "Email Body" (we can't set the filter on
"From" field) and Click Next
6. Check Cc the message to people or distribution list
7. Click people or distribution list and choose Archive
8. Click Next and Next and Finish
Now, every email sent from bob@xxxxxxxx sent will be cc to archive@xxxxxxxxx
Hope this helps.
If you have any concerns on this issue, please don't hesitate to let me
know.
Best regards,
Robert Li(MSFT)

<thanks for the help thus far. Couple of problems though.
<1) users in both domains currently have the same user name, ex.
<bob@xxxxxxxx, bob@xxxxxxxx I don't think exchange likes this.
<2) If I send emails from the sister company and I change the 'From'
section
<to the sister company's email address, the sent item get stored into the
<wrong account.
<
<Now I would either like to have it all into one email account, or have two
<mailbox accounts opened. If I go into the advance settings of the exchange
<server's email account from outlook (email accounts->exchange server->more
<settings->advance tab) I can add additional mailboxes. This is great,
however
<the email is under the sent item of the primary mailbox account.
Furthurmore
<this extra mailbox doesn't show up in remote web workplace...probably
because
<it is an outlook setting and now saved onto the server.
<
<An easy solution would be to add all pop3 email accounts via the 'email
<accounts' within outlook. (by the way, we use POPcon to dump emails from
our
<outsourced email server). Then setup rules to redirect to folders made
<within the mailbox. This would be great if the user is using outlook,
however
<the user wouldn't be able to send emails with RWW.
<
<Is there no other simple solution of managing more than one domains within
<outlook/rww using SBS R2?
