I added the site like that and changed the registry and I am still having problems. My friend is using IE 7 and is able to log in without any issues!

First of all i would recommend adding the site in trusted sites as
*.yourdomain.com . You could use the following registry key values to
have your IE7 simulate as IE6 for the sites that block IE7.
