Have you looked at
http://www.rackspace.co.uk/exchange/?ref=google&catid=managed_exchange&kwd=hosted+exchange
Haven't used at but...
Remote: All doable but....
First of all - Personally, I would NOT buy a DELL Server of any kind.
Ofcourse they work but....
Buy a HP Server
Strongly recommend you find a LOCAL Reseller to work with
people in SBS group will tell you to have a SBS Specialist but frankly a
decent
reseller will have WIDER experience and can advise you better. SBS focus is
good but ....
Remember: SBS is a fantastic product but Blinkered with SBS is NOT in YOUR
best interest.
Tape backup an 100% must. You might ALSO consider Remote Off-Site backup as
an extra.
References: Again a must - suggest 2 within the last 3 months, 2 OLD as
possible (at least)
Concentrate on: Configuration ie. what kind of setup, number of users etc.,
disaster recovery perpration
How good the Installation was, day-to-day support,

I'm looking for a good technical person to help me set up SBS 2003 on a
new
server and do ongoing maintenance on a regular basis. We are ready to do
this
asap.
We only have 4 users although our needs are relatively advanced for our
size. We're moving our server to a colocation facility as we transition to
a
virtual company; e.g., we will each work from home offices. We will remote
in
from the home office and access data on the server, including MS Exchange,
our CRM and data files.
I need someone to:
1) Set up SBS 2003 for 3-4 different user groups.
2) Set up MS Exchange - so far, no one I've used for technical support has
been able to do this for me on our current server. This is a requirement
for
our new support person.
3) Set up so that we each can remote in from our home offices (e.g., CRM
databases, Exchange to send/receive emails, etc.). Experience managing a
firewall is a requirement.
4) Recommend and set up backup (LTO2?).
5) Do a quick review of the server we are about to buy from Dell to ensure
it will meet our needs.
6) Ongoing maintenance to check firewall, log files, backups, etc.
Location is not an issue since we have login software. SBS Server 2003
will
come preloaded on the server, which will probably be a Dell.
I will need 5-7 references for anyone whom we seriously consider.
Any suggestions, please post here or email to kfx216 at yahoo.
