hi, could anyone help me re subect. i have a work laptop which was previously
on a different network. i added a new drive for the new server but whenever i
install a new software, it says \\server\data\user could not be found. if i
cancel, installation fails, how do i got around this issue / how do i change
the settings such that it learns that that disk is no longer available and
should not be used.everything wors fine except that i cannot install new
software which is annoying as i need some software for work. (i would rate
myself a beginner when it comes to network hdds!!)
Anything helpful is much appreciated
Thanks
Majid
