Upgrading SQL

My Client is running SBS2K3 Prem

We have not upgraded SQL to 2005

I can’t find any info on SBS2K8 Prem

I found hints of Windows Server 2008 and SQL 2008 being released maybe
second quarter next year but nothing on SBS.

My client wants advice on upgrading SQL.

Should they wait for the release of the next version before upgrading?
Should they just upgrade to SQL 2K5 now then upgrade again later?
Should they wait until the release of SBS2K8 when everything is bundled
together thus saving some money?
