Hi Gary,
Thanks for your reply.
First we can't create DMZ zone in the SBS network. Because that need 3
NICs, but SBS only support sing NIC or two NICs.
I researched your IIS log, the IIS code is 220. This is not error message.
Did you collect the IIS log when RWW is working?
I researched the IIS metabase, the Default Website and RWW virtual
Directory are the same as my test machine.
In the MPS Report, I found the following error:
Event Source: ASP.NET 1.1.4322.0
Event ID: 1062
It is not possible to run two different versions of ASP.NET in the same IIS
process. Please use the IIS Administration Tool to reconfigure your server
to run the application in a separate process.
Event Source: ASP.NET 1.1.4322.0
Event ID: 1062
It is not possible to run two different versions of ASP.NET in the same IIS
process. Please use the IIS Administration Tool to reconfigure your server
to run the application in a separate process
This is the cause of the issue. In the IIS Manager, different versions of
ASP.NET exist in the same application pool is not allowed. I found your
virtual directory BroadswordSvc, Broadsword are all running under APS.NET 2
and using DefaultAppPool. However RWW is using APS.NET 1 and using
DefaultAppPool too. This causes the conflict. At this point, if possible,
please change virtual directory BroadswordSvc and Broadsword to use ASP.Net
1 to see if the problem can be resolved.
Also, since the BroadswordSvc and Broadsword are third party websites,
please contact the software manufacture to see if they have method to fix
this conflict.
Hope this helps.
I am looking forward to hear from you.
Best regards,
Robert Li(MSFT)
