Hi Laurin,
I am sorry for the delay due to the weekend.
I tested this issue on my server. When I change the SMTP to listen to port
465, Same error message is produced, "The user or users have been added
successfully, but there was an error in sending the e-mail message. The
server may not be set up correctly to send e-mail. To verify that e-mail is
configured correctly, contact your server administrator. " It seems that
the notification information in companyweb only works on default port 25.
I am researching this with my senior engineers and will let you know the
result as soon as possible. Thanks for your understanding.
Best regards,
Robert Li(MSFT)
