Hi,
Please advise if the following scenario is possible.
I currently have a SBS 2003 machine that's about the die.
All patches installed. Exchange is also being used.
We have a new server ready to replace this machine.
I want to install a temp w2k3 server, xfer all fsmo to it, xfer exchange DB
and user docs etc also.
I want to then xfer all this info to the new server that will be running
SBS.
The whole point of this was to minimise the configuration on the user
desktops.
is this possible? i have been told that you can't xfer fsmo to sbs because
sbs by default will already have these roles from the sbs installation.
Thanks.
