HI,
I'm going to be doing a client install soon. All brand new stuff. I
don't have many details yet, but I do know there will be two locations
about 60 miles apart.
I believe that SBS will be a good fit, since I don't think we'll have
anything near 75 users in the near future.
First, I'd like to plan for the future. Knowing that SBS 2008 will be
out sometime next year, I would like to get 64 bit hardware now, and
possibly software assurance, if needed.
I'm not sure what the best way to handle two locations would be.
Ideally, I'd like a single domain for both offices, and I'm assuming
SBS would be in the main office, and a backup DC in the secondary
office. Does this sound feasable? What considerations would I need
to consider? Would the offices have to be always connected?
Thanks
Andy
The number of users in the remote office should heavily influence your
"connectivity" needs.
Is it 2 users or 20 users? Different answers have different needs.
