Its the private issue, here is the error message. I go back and attempt to
make the folders shared but it doesn't work .
Small Business Server Network Configuration Wizard
---------------------------
The following user settings are private:
- Administrator
Client Setup cannot migrate private user settings. On computers running
Windows XP Professional, you can make these settings public and migrate them
as follows:
Log on using the username and password of the user whose settings you want
to migrate. In the Documents and Settings folder, right-click the user's
folder, click Sharing and Security, and clear the Make this folder private
check box. Repeat this procedure for all subfolders that have this check box
selected, and then click OK.
Click Start, click Run, and run the Small Business Server Network
Configuration Wizard again by typing: http://nhhserver01/connectcomputer.
For computers running Windows 2000 Professional, or if the above steps do
not resolve the issue, see http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=19069 for
more information.

Thanks

When you say that all the users were Admins and ' it won't let you copy.
that', what do you mean? Do you get any kind of error and if yes, what is
that error? I'm not aware of any issues for transferring profiles for local
Admins? If the profile is private, then yes, there are steps you need to
take to solve the problem but at the end you should be able to transfer the
profiles

Thanks for the help, I did use the Connectcomputer wizard. It has a spot
where you can copy a user's profile. All my users are admins, and it
won't
let you copy that. I get a generic desktop, no Outlook Express info
(inbox
messages, addresses everything is overwritten.) I can go back and get the
original desktop/Outlook but not with a domain login.
When setting up the clients in the User Setup Wizard, I only checked the
SBS
client package box, and I went into Advanced and unchecked everything to
try
and get it to not overwrite the Desktop and Outlook Express. Again, no
help.
Thanks for your help.

Did you use the 'ConnectComputer' wizard to add the workstations to the
domain? If you did, when you add users to the computer you can select
which
of the current profile to assign to a user, which will migrate the
profile
to the new, domain user account
