| Hi there
|
| Problem resolved thanks.
|
| Preparation: I exported each list in the DHCP console to a notepad file
for
| reference when re-building the DHCP!! Important!
| 1. I un-installed DHCP
| 2. Deleted the Config Files From the "Windows/System32/DHCP" folder
| 3. Installed DHCP again, including configuring the scope, exclusions and
| reservations.
| 4. Run the Internet/E-mail Connection Wizards again (changed nothing just
| clicked straight through).
| 5. Run the Remote Access Wizard to restore the VPN reservations in DHCP.
|
| I did notice that after running this, only 5 able connections would show
in
| the reservations box for VPN clients. It had more before, it was missing
the
| L2TP reservations.
|
| So i did the following (for future reference): -
|
| 1. Opened Routing and Remote Access
| 2. Right clicked Ports and chose properties from the drop down.
| 3. Selected the "WAN Miniport (L2TP) connection and clicked the
"Configure"
| button.
| 4. Chose the top two tick boxes (Inbound) and (Inbound and Outbound)
| 5. Insured the maximum ports figure was set to 5 as per default.
|
| All now working fine!
