In your opening message you posted that you uninstalled and reinstalled SBS Monitoring after you upgraded to WSUS 3.0. According to the link I posted in my previous message, if you want to remove and reinstall SBS components, you have to first, uninstall WSUS 3.0.

Unless I misunderstood, you removed SBS Monitoring which WSUS 3.0 was installed on your system, which makes me think that was the root of your problem

Thanks for your promt response.

I did follow the directions on that document. More specifically, this
document directed me to:
Migrate from WSUS 2.0 to WSUS 3.0

I completed the instruction and the WSUS seems to be working fine.

My problem is now related to SBS Monitoring which is giving me an
error during the reinstall.

Am I missing something?
