Shouldn't the connectcomputer wizard offer this as a choice?
(though I'd definitely run the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard on each of the clients beforehand, just in case.)

Hi Nick,
One of these techniques should do the trick.
Migrate Profiles on Small Business Server Networks

Another option is:
User Profile Wizard 2.5

and unreliable. I've decided to replace it with a brand new server and clean
installation.
I'm not going to migrate any files\settings from the old one due to the
problems the existing server is already causing.
I only have 5 clients to connect, but was wondering how I can retain the
profiles from the client PC's when joing the new server.
ie; Having created a new account on the server, the client PC, wil I guess
have to join as a new user, so losing the current settings that are available
(outlook express profiles etc)
I know I can just import all the personel documents (My Docs folder) and
startup programs, but is there a way of joining the new server whilst
retaining the client profiles etc?
I hope this doesn't come across too confusing!
Any help would be appreciated
.
