Hi Frank, Sorry haven't a solution as me personally I see this 'backup
over the web' a very poor solution.
Businesses in UK have to comply with Data Protecion Act
We would be in control of the remote server and would use a VPN
Have you thought how long a 35GB backup would take ?
This is kind of why I am asking for tips and strategies, e.g. software that
that works on differencing and would also work for exchange.
More importantly though lets say server stolen, fire or rebuild
required... How long would it take to get data back down again before you
can start the rebuild ?
A lot quicker than the backup tapes that got burnt in the fire in the server
room! Realistically we could retrieve a 35GB file in about 3 hours if
needed.
regards
Frank
