Well it's quite interesting. First occurence is on 31 of July to 2 of
August, then whole August nothing and another occurence is since 8 of
September.
And no, event log says nothing special, at least about WINS.

Hello,
we have SBS 2k3 Standart R2 in our company. Is there any reason why
should WINS service take 25% of CPU time whole day?
No, that sounds odd. You might take a look at your event logs for
clues....and mention whether this just started, any changes you're aware
of, etc.
Is it causing you actual problems?
It's quite small
network, about 25 PCs, one half of them is within domain, second half
of them isn't.
On an related note, I'd stop and disable the computer browser service on
all your workstations, domain-member or not, since you've got WINS.
