Thanks for the reply. I changed it from the default 40 to 160 and so far it
appears to be working ok. No problems for the past few days. So that may
have been the trick!
Have a blessed day!

No issues with ISA 2004 SP3 that I know about.
Search ISA help for connection limits and look at this KB to make sure you
have at least 160 specified.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think we're running SP3, I thought there
were problems with it, but I'll have to check. What ISA connection
settings are you referring to?

What ISA 2004 SP do you have? It should be SP3. What are your ISA
connection settings?

Good Morning,
I hope everyone is doing well today. We are running SBS2003 SP1 with
ISA 2004. The firewall client is running on the workstations. Some
times we have problems logging into any sites with HTTPS in the url
(secured sites). Sometimes we get a page not found, sometimes it just
takes a long time logging in (google sites, or CDW cites, etc)
Sometimes I have to try several times to log in and finally it will
work.
A work-a-round that I've found that works most of the time, go under IE
| Options | Connections
The ISA firewall seems to make my IE settings connect to proxy server.
Well if I uncheck this box, so that it doesn't go thru proxy server and
click the 'Automatic Detect' box, I can USUALLY load https pages ok,
but not always. In other words I usually have less problems and pages
load a little faster when not going through proxy. BUT when I reboot,
those settings are being changed back to go through the proxy.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix the problem with loading
https pages? Please note, I do NOT have a problem with standard http
pages, just secured pages. Thanks!
Sincerely,
Anthony Smith
In God We Trust!
