Terence:
I followed your guidance on the Health Monitor and the monitoring component
of SBS 2003. I still can't get usage information. I tried the process you
described a second time, except I removed the Health Monitor, then removed
the monitoring component of SBS, then cleaned the registry and folders,
then reinstalled the Health Monitor and the monitoring component of SBS. I
still don't have usage data, I'm getting errors regarding perflib, perfmon
and PSched. I would have attached the event logs (application & system),
but they are too large. Is there another way I can get the files to you.
Maybe if you see the errors, you can tell what the problem is.
Note, SharePoint services (http://companyweb) no longer works.

I did install SP1 using the sequence described on the Microsoft webpage
about a year ago. I checked
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/SmallBusinessServer/ServicePackNumber. The value is
1.

Hello Bruce,
Thank you for your email.
You had installed Windows server 2003 sp2 on SBS 2003, however, you may not
completely applied SBS 2003 sp1.
On the SBS server, click Start, click Run, type "regedit" (without the
quotation marks) and click OK. Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer, and check the
data of the registry value ServicePackNumber. Is it set to "1"? If not,
then this problem will occur because SBS 2003 SP1 has not been completely
installed. To successfully install SBS 2003 SP1, we must install all five
updates listed below. Additionally, the updates must be installed in the
sequence listed.

Note: Since Windows server 2003 sp2 is already installed, you can skip the
A step. If you had installed Exchange 2003 sp2 on SBS, you can skip the C
step.
A. Service Pack 1 for the Windows Server 2003 operating system
B. Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 Service Pack 1
C. Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 1
E. Windows XP SP2 for Client Deployment
F. Windows Small Business Server 2003 Service Pack 10
After you applied the whole SBS 2003 SP1, please run CEICW
Go through the follow KB and Rerun CEICW carefully.

Then, go to the other steps.
I agree with you, the steps will take several hours, please feel free to
take your time.
Additional, all the steps are complex, I suggest you backup your SBS before
we do the steps.

Terence:
The problems didn't start until I installed Windows Server 2003 SP2.
Shouldn't I start there rather than reinstalling SBS 2003 SP1? Will Windows
even let me install SP1? The server component has had SP2 applied. I think
Exchange has been too.
I will need to schedule this for a time when the library will not be open.
This server runs the library management software and the process you're
talking about will take several hours.
