1. Yes . I cannot log out from all client and server machines when I connect
to them via the internet even when a different external PC is used..
2.I have not tried running MSTSC from within the network recently. (It did
work fine before). As I am off site I connect mainly through RWW. I will have
to test the MSTSC when I get on site.
3.This I will have to test when I am on site.
4.When the X is selected, the server desktop (when connected to the
server)freezes.
5. The X is the one on the tab that has the IP address of the remote
PC/server. When this is selected the PC freezes.I cannot shut down the pc or
make other selections.
6.I can log out of the RWW page successfully if I do not not logon to a
client or server.
However if I select
Enable files or folders to be transferred between the remote computer and
this computer
before loging onto the server or client, the process fails (page error) and
I cannot logon onto the client or server.
7.After clicking the x (on the tab that has the IP address), the remote
client/server does not allow any further selection. The mouse cursor moves
but does not allow any selection.
8. The two process are the remote pc/server and the Small Business RWW -
Windows internet explorer which has to be terminated using ctrl+alt+del.
9. The two links that you have posted is not accessable. I could not get to
the MPS Report tool.

narrow down the cause:

1. Does the issue happen on all the external computers?

3. Does the issue happen on the internal client workstations?
4. If you click Start-->Log Off, what is the result?
5. You mentioned X, in order to avoid confusion, would you please capture a
screenshot to show the X?
6. When access RWW and then connect to the internal machine, there will be
two windows, one is the RWW web page window, the other is the Remote
connection window. If you click on the "log off" option in the RWW web
page, can you log off? If you try to directly close the RWW web page, what
will happen?
7. Please let me know that after clicking X, could you still operate in the
terminal computer? Or the session is in "Not Responding" status?
8. Regarding the "two processes", do you mean the Remote connection and the
RWW webpage?

9. Please download the MPS Report tool from the following link, connect to
the server on RWW from the external computer and reproduce the problem.
Then run it on both the external computer and the SBS server, then send the
generated CAB file to my mailbox v-mzhuan@xxxxxxxxxxxxx for further
investigation so that we can find what the root cause is:
