RE: Server Mngt- Backup and Monitor and report Broken after SP2 instal

Thanks, this has moved things in a positive direction.
This has caused to different results.

1) For backup
When I click on backup I now get the following
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You do not have the correct permissions to view this page. For more
information contact your system administrator.

To view this page, you must be a member of the Domain Admins security group.
I'm logged in as the administrator, so this doesn't make sense. Just to be
sure I checked and the administrator is infact a member of the Domain Admins
group.

I checked permissions on the backup directory in IIS and Admin has full priv.
I also checked and the local path says \backup and read is enabled. I
enabled write script and directory browsing and this didn't make any
difference.

2) for monitoring and reporting I get the following
Small Business Server Monitoring and Reporting
To view performance and usage reports, first run the Monitoring
Configuration Wizard to enable monitoring, reporting, and alerts. To do this,
click (As a hyper link) Set Up Monitoring Reports and Alerts.

Here is where it gets interesting and may be the root cause of the problem.
When I click on the setup and monitoring reports and alerts hyperlink I get
a error dialog box stating"
"The wizard encountered an error while configuring the monitoring features.
Run SBS server setup, resinstall the server tools component, and then run the
Monitoring config wizard again.

When I run SBS setup I get an error when I try to remove server tools. as
follows.
