After you can telnet to your exchange server on port 25 from inside your
LAN, and all the services are running and there are no relevant errors in
the event logs, consider the following diagram:
workstatation -> switch-> Server Internal NIC -> server external nic ->
router -> internet "device - modem etc)
192.168.16.x 192.168.16.2 192.168.1.2
192.168.1.1 76.194.107.206.
For the purposes of a test, if necessary, you could take the router out of
the loop and connect the second card directly to the inet and give it the
static ip address. Would not want to do this for long, and only if you have
anti virus, anti spam software running, and only if you are really careful
about running the CEICW so that your server is natted (which is all a router
does).
Last thing, I don't know what 'bridged mode' means, but it may be
irrelevant, since you can't telnet to the exchange server from inside.

working on something for you, back in a few....
If you cannot telnet to the exchange server, email is not going to work.
pinging mail.blueboatdesigns.com returns the correct ip, so the mx is ok.

Have you checked the event logs and the services applet in admin tools to
verify that the necessary exchange services are running.
Anything else going on that seems out of norm?

Domain name is blueboatdesigns.com and static ip is 76.194.107.206
2 NICs
No clue if ISP blocks port 25
I tried a internal Telnet and I type in the information as asked and
it says could not open connection
Port 80 is closed : )
