Hello Laurin,
Thank you for kind update.
Since this issue does not happen when you logon this client computer with
another domain user account, and logon another client computer with this
problematic user account, this is a issue only happens when the specific
user logon specific computer. Therefore, I think this user profile on this
computer may be corrupted. I suggest we perform the following steps to
recreate the user profile on this computer:
1. Please try to backup the user profile for the this user on this computer:
a. Log on to the computer using an Administrator account.
b. Right-click My Computer , and then click Properties .
c. On the Advanced tab, click Settings under User Profiles pane, click the
local profile that contains the settings you want, and then click Copy To .
NOTE : The profile usually contains the name of the computer and the name
of the user account.
d. In the Copy profile to box, click Browse , and then browse a folder to
save the profiles backup.
2. Then delete the local profile:
a. Log on this computer with local administrator.
b. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then
double-click System.
c. On the User Profiles tab, click the local profile for the domain user,
and then click Delete.
3. Recreate the user profile:
Restart the computer and logon the this user account. Then test this issue.
I hope these steps will give you some help.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)

|
| I actually disabled the one "problem" roaming profile, and as of today,
| documents are staying put.
|
| The particular user has two shared folders on the server, one under
| //sever/users/username, and another at //sever/username/workfiles. The
| entire time the items in my documents were disapeering everything in the
| second shared folder //sever/username/workfiles stayed put... Just
thought
