Really thanks for your help and time to find those suggestions and I will
try some
of your suggestions and see what happen.

One thing I would like to tell you is that I redo the internet connection on
to do list
once and I got back my RWW work properly again but OWA still can not be
able to sync. with the exchange
and the same comments come out after it tried to connect to exchange via
internet
outside the offce. Don't you think this can help you to find out the
mistakes may
happened somewhere on either the IIS or on isa ??? I strongly beleive the
trouble
is on the IIS setting somewhere. It is because now my treo 650 and RWW
works
perfectly outside the office. but it is not so convinence as using outlook
2003 to sync.
the mail with exchange.

Hope the above information can give you some sense of finding my mistakes.

On reinstalling IIS on SBS2003 there used to be a KB 887305 but I can't find
it.

Overall, SBS is a really integrated beast that you don't want to mess with.
I'm not quite sure what other advise I can give you. If it is a small
installation, I personally would flatten it at this point. It will take you
probably less time than trying to fix it.

1. entered password - yes , it immediate says " the exchange server is not
available " and asked to try again or work offine or cancel.

2. Yes , w2k3 sp2 was installed . I add the ip of the server on the iis
vertual
director of exchange- oma on default website under ip access restriction.
ISA
2004 is listen to basic authenticate and certificate for oma and owa is
listen to
form -authenticate.

3. owa syc. failed - yes i meant outlook2003 over http and the
authentication was
set to basic authentication.

new question again.

4. yesterday, I tried to delete rule " sbs exchange-owa access rule " and
republishing a new " sbs exchange-owa access rule " again and leaving
http filter unconfig and added " /rpc/* " on the path then the result is
even worst. now I can not even logon with RWW and sync outlook. On
rww
diag it continuously ask for login id and pw. can this help you sort
out
something from it ???
now I can only use treo650 to sync. mail with our server outside the
office.

I really hope that you can sort it out and help to get it right.
