There are several. See RFC 2142 (http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2142.txt)
and RFC-Ignorant (http://www.rfc-ignorant.org/). I usually create the
following universal distribution groups (one group per alias) and let
recipient policies create aliases in the relevant email domains:
List Description Membership
----- ----------- ----------
abuse For receiving spam/hacking complaints security
admin For general support queries *
admins Alias for "admin" admin
antivirus Alias for "security" security
av Alias for "security" security
ftp Alias for "webmaster" webmaster
hostmaster For queries about public DNS registrations *
noc For outage notifications to support staff admin
postmaster For queries about email services *
security For security-related questions/complaints *
webmaster For queries about web services (HTTP, FTP) *
[*] I simplify list management by assigning staff members to the
global security groups that represent business roles within the
organization.
My recipient policies look something like the following (see Microsoft
support articles 319188 and 822447 for more specific examples):
SMTP: %g.%s@xxxxxxxxxx
smtp: %m@xxxxxxxxxx
Custom LDAP query: ExtensionAttribute15=*domain.tld*
Yes, there are a lot of groups, but the idea is to let recipient
policies handle address generation in the background, and to use
nested groups and groups representing business roles together with
user templates to assign list memberships. (SBS's "Change User
Permissions" wizard is very useful, here.)
Best wishes,
Matthew

Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
