You should not manually add a computer to the domain. Create the computer
account on the server and then open IE on the desktop and type
http://yourservername/connectcomputer
Follow the wizard.
If that doesn't work, tell us a bit more about your setup (SBS version, 1NIC
or 2NIC setup, etc) and post an ipconfig /all from your server and one of
the workstations.

Hello,
I don't know why this is happening and when it happened because adding
computers to the domain is not an everyday task here. But I have notice
that when I do have to add the domain and use the domain name for example
"daggerwing" rather "daggerwing.lan", it will not let me add the computer
to the domain. I have to use the daggerwing.lan to add pc to the domain.
What is the matter, I was able to use just the name of the domain
(daggerwing) to add computer to the domain. I know it might be a DNS
issue but where do I look.
Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Helen
