| Hello Mick,
|
| Thank you for kind update.
|
| Since Robert is on vacation, I will work on this issue with you.
|
| Based on my research, the email address staatinc.com is resolved to the
| following IP addresses:
|
| 64.18.7.10
| 64.18.7.11
| 64.18.7.13
| 64.18.7.14
|
| The IP is not your SBS public IP address 75.9.229.14. This is why you
| cannot get external email. When somebody try to send email to
| xxx@xxxxxxxxxxxx, the mail server will send the email to one of the above
4
| IP addresses, but not your IP 75.9.229.14. Therefore, you cannot get the
| email.
|
| This is a public DNS issue. Please contact your public DNS provider, and
| make them help for you.
|
| If there's anything else I can do for you, please do not hesitate to let
me
| know.
|
| Thank you and have a nice day,
|
| Best regards,
|

| | Steve,
| |
| | Thanks for responding to my post. I guess I need to backup a step or
| | two. We are hosting our own web page and internet email. What has
| | happened is that our domain name in not being published on the
| | Internet. Our domain name is staatinc.com. If you try to brouse to
| | that site by name it will not display. If you brouse to our site by
| | IP address (75.9.229.14) the web page displays. I'm sure that is the
| | problem with our incomming email. Example "selena@xxxxxxxxxxxx". Any
| | guess as to why the internet DNS Servers don't see our domain name?
| |
| |
