Need help with server internet connection

Windows SBS 2003 R2 - 2 NICs - Static IP and router

Cannot get my server to connect to the internet and have exhausted
everything I know (which apparently isn't much.) Client computers are
all connected to the server and working fine; just can't access the
internet from server or clients. I'm thinking I don't really
understand gateways and routers very well and that's where the problem
is. Here's the info on my setup. Any help would be GREATLY
appreciated.

Router: AT&T 2wire gateway - that's about all I know

Server External NIC:
IP address: 192.168.1.10
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (This is the problem I think)
DNS: 192.168.16.2
WINS: Blank

Server LAN connection:
IP address: 192.168.16.2
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: Blank
DNS: 192.168.16.2
WINS: 192.168.16.2

OK, here is the (router?) info that I got from my ISP:
IP address: 76.240.9.65
Subnet: 255.255.255.248
Primary DNS: 68.94.156.1
Secondary DNS: 68.94.157.1
Default Gateway: 76.240.9.70

I know that this is a PPPoe connection as far as the router is
concerned but in SBS I'm not sure if it should be configured as a
direct broadband connection or a router with an IP address. I've tried
both ways and it still doesn't work. If you need more information
please let me know. Thanks!
