Hi Doug,

If you manually join a client, it will show up in Computers directly from
the AD root.

Yep, that is what I expect, however what happens when I join the computer
without connectcompter. Just as you would with a normal domain. In this
case it dose not show up in the AD
Why is this and is this a problem and if so how do I fix this???

Hi DOug,

Drill down in MyBusiness\Computers\SBSComputers. That is where the
clients
will be put if they are joined with connectcomputer.

SBS Std.

In computer management under client computers all the computers are
showing
up.
Under Advanced Management AD the computers are not there
Questions:
Why??

In some instances I could not do the //server/connectcompter thing as
it
would not allow me to do that. So I joined the computer by adding it
to a
domain under the computer properties etc eg change compter name etc.

This may be the problem, but on other sites this is not the case.

Also I would expect that they all should be in AD and if not is this a
problem??

Any Ideas??
TIA
Regards Doug
