You should install SBS 2003 SP1 at least as SP 0 is no longer supported and
upgrade ISA to 2004 . You've applied the ripcurl patch and other necessary
items in the KB article and added the Vista via the connectcomputer wizard?

It seems there are a lot of issues around with vista and network
connections....
Here is my scenario.
SBS 2003 Premium (no sp)
XP Pro clients
Vista Clients
XP Pro clients have no issues in the network setting.
From a new install of Vista clients work fine (obtain IP from DHCP) when
connected to the internet router directly.
Connect to the SBS Server and DHCP assigned IP address is also obtained.
Client can be added to the DOMAIN. It appears that this works fine
initially
and connection to the internet can be obtained throught the SBS server /
ISA
Server.
HOWEVER....
Reboot the clients and they are no longer able to obtain IP address from
any
DHCP server.
I have tried to clear the winsock settings as posted in a previous reply.
I have uncleared the BROADCAST flag.
I have read elsewhere that the GPO for the Domain may have caused problems
but cannot find a solution to clearing this.
I can set up manual IP Addresses but the default gateway seems to have
issues (cannot find a solution to this either). This manifests itself when
using Windows Live Messenger (internet works fine).
Outcome required.... Ability to clear DHCP issues and obtain DHCP assigned
IP address
or.....
Manually setup IP so that the Default Gateway works correctly
Thanks in advance.
