Re: (Dutch??) Outlook 2003/2007 deleting e-mails

Hi,

Make sure that the Outlook profile only has the Exchange mailbox in it.

Hey there,

not sure if this is the right place. We only have customers with SBS
servers...

Anyways we have several customers with multifunctional printers. With
atleast 6 customers the issue occured that the scanned files (send by
e-mail) are automatically disappearing without a warning. The e-mails
are actually deleted.

This can be easily proven. If we shutdown outlook, do a scan the number
of items in the mailbox will increment. If you logon to OWA you will see
the scan. Start outlook and it will be gone (number of items in inbox
also decrements).

To solve either:
* Disable cache mode (instant fix)
* Recreate outlook profile (instant fix)

We'd really like to know how to prevent this permanently. Going by all
user profiles, on all PC's to change outlook settings is not an option.
Especially not considering how much customers we have the issue with.
All of these customers use pretty standard settings. All run exchange
with SP2, all have Outlook 2003 with service packs or Outlook 2007.

As the problem isn't very known, or so it seems atleast, I suspect it to
only be an issue with dutch versions of Outlook (or perhaps SBS server).

If anyone can confirm they're seeing the problem as well, I'd also like
to know.

TIA & Regards

.
