Re: Backing up uers accounts

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi:

There are lots of ways to increase the storage capacity without wiping out
your entire server. You can even move to a new server without sacrificing
your existing domain, users, SIDS or any of your setup.

Perhaps if you told us something about how your drives are configured we can
suggest some solutions.

For example, if your drives are C and D, you may have filled your c drive
and have room on your d drive.

We have a dell server with Microsoft Small Business server, which is
in real need of updating. I need to increase the hard drives within
the server however in doing this I will have to format the existing
data. This should be a major problem, however I need to back-up or
make a report of all users, user permissions, user email addresses and
any other info surrounding user account. Does anyone know of a tool
that can do this? I will be making a Microsoft back-up however because
I am changing the storage size I am a little worried that the back-up
I make will not recover correctly, which in turn is why I need to find
a tool to do all the above.

Thanks
