Hi Simon,

If the DFS root is a stand-alone root in a remote site, or a domain-based
root with no local targets, the profile might fail to load. To work around
this issue, disable slow link detection or install a redundant root target
at each client site. For more information, see Knowledge Base article
830856, A roaming profile is not loaded from a DFS share.
