Hi Anna:
Assuming that the .28.4 is the external NIC. (because it has a gateway).
The only thing I see in your DNS is that you should take the WINS address
off the external nic in your server.
I don't have a server here to compare, but the RRAS being on the same subnet
as the internal nic dosen't feel right. Someone else will jump in here.
What are you using RRAS for?
Can you post the results of your ipconfig from one of the offending
workstations.
ipconfig /all > c:\ipws.txt

Hi Anna:
As Susan Bradley SBS-MVP frequently says: "baby steps".
Most of such problems are caused by DNS setting on the server vs the
workstations.
Can you confirm that the properties of IP in Network Settings show that
every one points to the internal IP of your SBS server for DNS?
If in doubt, do the following:
Open a cmd prompt
Type ipconfig /all > c:\ipserver.txt from the server
Type ipconfig /all > c:\ipwkst.txt from workstations
you can compare the output, and you can cut and past the results and post
them to this thread.
Also, have you checked that the settings on the problamatic workstations
allow for remote connections?
My computer, r click, properties, remote... tick the allow remote
connections box

I have an issue connecting to certain workstations using RWW.
I am able to login using VPN and view Outlook, and log onto the server
computer and some workstations. But there are some workstations that
will not login using RWW but will log in using remote desktop
connection.
I have done some investigating and have found that the workstations
that do not connect using RWW i have a problem pinging on the server
computer.
What i mean is that when type the ping command from the server to the
workstation i get an external ip and not the internal ip of the
workstation. If i ping the workstation from the VPN client or another
internal workstation it brings up the correct ip address.
From my reading i understand that when using RWW the information goesfrom the server to the workstation, but if it is looking for and
external ip address it makes sense that it cannot connect to the
workstation.
How can i get the server DNS to see the internal ip before going out
and finding the external IP?
I have SBS 2003 R2 Premium with ISA 2004 running.
Thanks
Anna
Hi Larry
I have checked the workstations and they all allow for remote
connections, as i have been using remote connection and connecting via
remote desktop. I have no problem using remote desktop from any of
the workstations directly connected to the network or using remote
desktop via remote connection.
I cannot however use RWW while connected to the network via remote
connection or from a workstation, and i cannot use RWW from the server
or use remote desktop. Ie when i try to connect to workstation
computers via terminal services in the server management, manage
client computers console.
Please find following the ipconfig all from the server...
