Re: New user can't login to Domain from workstations

Try this.

Step 1: On the problamatic XP workstation, Control Panel, Users.

Remove any stored passwords for the problamatic user.

Step 2: Please change the network password and try again.

1. Open Server Management and click Users.
2. Right click the user account and select Reset Password.
3. Input the new password.

Step 3: Please reset the computer account and try again.

1. Open ADUC.
2. Migrate to Domain.local\MyBusiness\Computers\SBSComputers.
3. Right click computer account and click Reset Account.

I have one SBS 2003 sp1 server running with xp pro workstations.

I can create a new user
I can login to the SERVER with that user
I can NOT login to any workstation with that user

I have tried creating manually
I have tried creating with the wizard
I have tried copying an existing working user
I have tried creating user with no password
I have tried creating user with a password
I have tried waiting 24 hours
I have tried detaching and reattaching to the domain
I have tried making that user an "administrator"

When I log in from any workstation, I get a message telling me to check my
user name and password for errors.

Ideas??
