Actually my PPC 6700 does active sync wirelessly to my SBS server for mail
And because I have a corporate IT job too, I synch contacts and calendar to my corp laptop using Active Sync 4.5 via the cradle and it goes out and gets my sbs exchange email as well.
Is wireless direct push working ok with SSL?

Hmm..OK Chris,
So if you are synchronizing using Activesync (Push e-mail) and have
this setup to sync to https://mail.domain.co.uk.exchange (or https://public
IP address/exchange)
..and you have your Contacts, Calendar, E-mail and Tasks selected.
How do you go about making this work on a laptop connected to the
LAN ?
Basically we are talking about a pocket PC running Windows Mobile 5.0
Connected to a laptop using a USB cable, laptop on the LAN with access
to the Exchaneg Server.
Does it automatically revert from HTTPS to something else whilst it's
connected to Activesync running on the laptop via the USB cable ?
Surely the local path to OMA would be different ie: https://servername/exchange
( or https://private IP address/exchange)
How do you get Activesync to sync to the both without changing this
setting ?
Or am I missing a trick or two here..
regards
Jim.
