Re: VPNing to the server

Hi:
I don't have a LAN. I just have SBS 2003 Premium R2 connected to the
Internet. If I enable it's L2TP VPN functionality, can I remote in to the
server over the Internet and manage it? Or does it only function as a VPN
router that provides secure remote access to a LAN?
No, the server is included, indeed the VPN is terminated in the server
and the rest of the LAN can be isolated from it. It is possible to
connect to the server by direct RDP for administration, but nobody
recommends that. RDP over VPN is fine.
