i have tried Steps 1 and 2 - no change so I have created the cab file as
requested. However when i tried to send it, I received a ndr (mailbox is
full or file 1.9Mb too big)

From your description, I know that after you installed SSL certificate on
SBS server, when you expand Public Folders, you get error: SSL certificate
name is incorrect. If that's not right, please don't hesitate to let me
know.

Please let me know the following:

1. Did you install the third party certificate? If yes, please let me know
the name of the vendor.

Although SBS can import Certificate by running the CEICW wizard, different
venders may have their specific setting, you may also contact the
consultant for more help.

Please on my research, please take the following steps:

Step 1: This can occur if you are requiring SSL for the Exadmin virtual
directory under the Default website, but there is no certificate bound to
the website.

1. Click Start , point to Programs , click Administrative Tools , and then
click Internet Services Manager .
2. Click your server, and then expand the Web site that contains the
Exadmin virtual root (the default Web site is "Default Web Site").
3. Right-click Exadmin , and then click Properties.
4. Click the Directory Security tab.
5. Under Secure Communications , click Edit .
6. Click to clear the Require secure channel (SSL) check box. If Require
128-bit encryption is shaded, click to select Require secure channel
(SSL),
click to clear Require 128-bit encryption, and then click to clear the
Require secure channel
(SSL) check box again.
7. Click OK two times.
8. Restart Exchange System Manager.

Step 2: Please try the following steps to install the certificate:

1. On the SBS 2003 Server open the Server Management console. Go to
Standard Management\To Do List.
2. Click the "Connect to the Internet" link.
3. Choose not to change the connection type and click Next. On the
Firewall
page, select "Enable firewall" and click Next
4. On the "Services Configuration" page, select the items and then click
Next.
5. On the "Web Services Configuration" page, all the sites you need to
visit from Internet and click Next.
6. On the "Web Server Certificate" page, choose "Use a Web server
certificate from a trusted authority" and then import the third party
Certificate.
7. Go through the remaining steps.

If the problem persists, please help me collect the following information
for further research:

1.Visit
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/b/1/bb139fcb-4aac-4fe5-a579-30b0bd9
15706/MPSRPT_Exchange.EXE to download the file.
2. Run the MPSRPT_Exchange.EXE on the server box.
3. Wait for 10~15 minutes.
4. Open Windows explorer, navigate to
%SYSTEMROOT%\MPSReports\Exchange\cab\
5. Send the .cab file directly to v-robeli@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with subject:
40129338-SBS2003 R2 Exchange issue.
