....Climbing up on my soapbox...
For better security, the owners should be using Remote Web Workplace (RWW)
to access their LAN workstations from home. I would also discourage A VPN
to the SBS server as this may be a route for trojans and other malware to
infiltrate the LAN. As long as the hard drives are not allow to connect (an
option with RWW), Remote Web Workplace is preferred because it is secure and
only passes screenshots and keystrokes over the connection (like a Terminal
Server session). This make the end user experience almost as fast as being
in the office. Note that printing from a LAN computer to a home office when
using RWW can be problematic depending on the home office printer. Using
RWW also allows ALL data to remain on the LAN workstation (or better yet,
the SBS server), so that it can be secured and backed up on a nightly basis.
....Climbing down off my soapbox...
Not sure why the owners need to access their home workstations. Again, if
RWW is used for Home-to-LAN access, all data will be kept on the SBS server.
So, what is the overriding need for access to their home computers from the
LAN?

Hello!
I was hoping someone could advise me as to what's the best way to remotely
access a home computer from work. The owners of the company I work for
can
VPN (SonicWall Global Client) from their home computer to the LAN at work
no
problem. However, if they wish to go the other direction (work to home
PC),
what is the best method to accomplish this? We have a SBS 2003 server at
work with Win XP Pro workstations and the home computer is Win XP Pro as
well.
Thanks!
WenMax
