BTW, the settings need to be made in IE on any lan computer you want to use to access the console. For example, making these settings on a workstation allows access to the console from that workstation.

I don't think the tunnel port range is required for internal https access, provided:

In proxy settings, bypass proxy for local addresses; and in exceptions: http: and https://servername.domain.extension (being the local domain).

You may need to enter the https://trend_site into trusted connections.

On a side note, this can all be avoided by selecting a 'custom' installation of CSM, instead of the default. Yes, there are a few more questions to answer, but the defaults are fine *except* you elect not to require https.

Here is the best way of doing this....

Go to www.isatools.org and download the isa_tpr.js file

hi all, sbs03 r2 premium server running no problems.

installed trend micro on the server and now when i try to go to the console
for trend i get the following message:

Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. The specified Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) port
is not allowed. ISA Server is not configured to allow SSL requests from this
port. Most Web browsers use port 443 for SSL requests. (12204)

my question is how do i add in 4343 as a port that is ok for https on isa

thanks
