<Hello,
<
<Thanks for posting in our newsgroup.
<
<From your description, I know that when one user connects OWA, the IE
<browser is displayed half in German and half in English. If that's not
<correct, please don't hesitate to let me know.
<
<When User access a mailbox through OWA, the language of the OWA interface
<(such as the forms and tooltips) is determined by a special HTTP header
<that is sent to the server by the client browser. The client browser
<indicates to the server in which language to display the user interface
and
<the server will return the user interface in that language if the server
<supports that language.
<
<The language of the default set of folder is determined by the language of
<the first client to access the mailbox. When a new mailbox is created, if
<you use the German version of Outlook, or Internet Explorer with a German
<Accept-Language to access the mailbox, the names of the Inbox, Calendar,
<Contacts and other default folders are localized into German.
<
<To resolved this:
<
<1.Open control panel, expand "Regional and langusge options","Regional
<Option" ,select "German" or whatever you want to use as language of OWA
<Interface.
<
<2.Use Outlook XP or Outlook 2003 to connect to Exchange server, run
outlook
<at command line:
< outlook /resetfoldernames. This action will affect outlook and OWA
<interface.
<
<3. Please check if the problem is resolved. If Step 2 doesn't work, do the
<following:
<
<1) Logon a German Outlook 2003.
<2) Create a new profile for the problem user.
<3) Quit Outlook.
<4) Run the command outlook /resetfoldernames.
<5) Logon OWA and check again.
<
<More info:
<
<How to hard code the language of OWA interface
<http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310599
<
<Hope this helps.
<
<If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.
<
<Best regards,
<
