Deploying windows mobile with SBS 2003.
Which is the way to go?
I think the steps in that PDF should be all you need....what happened when
you tried?
Thanks for all your help.
Allen
Sorry for the delay (I lost track of this thread).

I purchased a Turbo SSL Certificate. Is that good?
I think so...
For the next
step, should I generate the certificate signing request? I believe
this is what I need to activate my certificate with GoDaddy. I
first have to remove the current certificate correct?
Allen
Did you read the PDF?

I have just purchased a SSL certificate from GoDaddy.com.
What kind? For Activesync/push mail to work, it has to be trusted
by the device - and not all certs are created equal.
https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/ssl/ssl.asp?isc=microsoft
I know now
that I need to activate it.
I have to enter my office information
and server information for the certificate to work right. I
understand that this info is very important so I want to get it
right. I checked System Properties for the SBS 2003 and here is
what I have. Full computer name:
xxxxxx01.xxxxxxIncorporated.local Domain:
xxxxxxIncorporated.local
You won't use anything.local on your SSL cert.
My email and internet domain is not xxxxxxxIncorporated.com.
That doesn't matter....but you sure chose a long/unwieldy internal
DNS name to type in! :)
It is xxxxxxtexts.com.
That's fine.
Emails are working fine and everything is
great. My internet domain is registered with a different provider
which directs my emails to my Exchange server DSL Static IP
address. (maybe I explained that right)
I'm presuming you mean, your public domain's email is hosted
directly on your Exchange server via SMTP (this is a Good Thing)
and has an MX record that specifies an A record pointing at your
public IP.
When I check my mail with Outlook Web
Access. The address is https://xxxxx01.xxxxxxtexts.com/remote.
What I need to know is what address do I need to setup the SSL
Certificate with and how can I find out if I have one on the
server already?
If you set up a self-signed cert when you installed SBS, you do
have one already (as you say you're using OWA with SSL, that's
clearly the case).
