Thanks for answering. Now that you mention it, the drives are mapped all
over the alphabet. For instance not one of them is mapped to the "Z" drive.

The PT version is Complete Accounting 2002. This case happens to be
mappedIt was mapped to the "M" drive and there are no maps from 'Z' to "N"

They are a non profit so they are running an old version.

A simple LOGON.BAT file, even in a peer-peer situation with a a bunch
of:

net use T: /delete
net use T: \\servername\Accounting$
:
net use U: /delete
net use U: \\servername\Utilities

(those are examples)

this will make the shares/drive letters the same for everyone.

The Z dive should be mapped in the PROFILE (account settings) so that
everyone has their own Z drive that maps to their home folder.

After you get the resources shared, create Global Security groups, like
GRP_ACCOUNTING_USERS and then put the people that are permitted to
access accounting folder in it. On the share, remove the DOMAIN USERS
group from the share security.

Once you get the drive maps down properly you can either install the
common (company) files to the "T" (my example) drive or you can follow
the PT 2002 instructions on how to setup shared access.

Most NP businesses have money for things that don't need, it's just a
matter of getting them to give up paying for BS items that the directors
want in order to get quality hardware and software and even updates.
