Hi,
Please let me know the status of this issue so that I can give you further
help:
1. Have you tried to restore mailbox from old hard disk? If that's
unsuccessful, what error message can you see?
2. Have you tried to move the share folds on old hard disk with xcopy?
If you see any errors when restore Exchange from old disk, please send me
the screen shot, also give me the MPS Report.
1.Visit
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/b/1/bb139fcb-4aac-4fe5-a579-30b0bd9
15706/MPSRPT_Exchange.EXE to download the file.
2. Run the MPSRPT_Exchange.EXE on the server box.
3. Wait for 10~15 minutes.
4. Open Windows explorer, navigate to %SYSTEMROOT%\MPSReports\Exchange\cab\
5. Send the .cab file directly to me.
I am looking forward to hear from you.
If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Best regards,
Robert Li(MSFT)

<Hi,
<
<Since you don't have recent backup, the things may be more complicated. At
<this point, you need to call CSS directly.
<
<The good thing is we can still visit the old hard disk. Please take the
<following steps to recovery data.
<
<Share Folder:
<
<To move Users Shared Folders to the destination Disk
<
<Use the Xcopy command to copy the Users Shared Folders from the source
<partition to the destination disk. This method preserves the file
ownership
<settings and discretionary access control list (DACL) information.
<1. On the new SBS server, click Start, click Run, and then type Cmd.
<2. At a command prompt, type the following, where C is the source
partition
<and D is the destination partition:
<Xcopy C:\"Users Shared Folders" D:\"Users Shared Folders" /e /o /d /h /v
</c>>C:\Copyresults.txt
<
<3. Press ENTER, and then the cursor will pause. Type D for Directory.
<4. Using Windows Explorer, open C:\Copyresults.txt and verify if any
errors
<occurred during the file copy. You can also compare the number and size of
<the files that were in the Users folder in the source disk with the number
<of files that are in the destination disk.
<
<You can also find the steps in

<
<For the calendar and contacts, please try the following:
<
<1. The information may be kept in pst file if you selected all the items ,
<please import the pst file to Outlook, then click if you can see the
<calendar and contacts.
<
<2. Please dismount the mail box store and public folder store. go to
<"c:\program files\exchsrvr\mdbdata\ " of the older disk.
<Copy data in the folder and plaster the original data (.edb and .stm and
<log file) to the folder "c:\program files\exchsrvr\mdbdata\ " on new
<server.
<
<On how to dismount the store, please read the following KB:
<
<How to back up and restore an Exchange computer by using the Windows
Backup
<program
<http://support.microsoft.com/kb/258243
<
<Please try to mount the store on new server again .
<
<Hope this helps.
