SBS2003R2 Premium with 2NICs. There are 4 NICs present, 2 are disabled and
the other 2 have static IPs (LAN and WAN).
Sever shut down due to power failure. On bootup the server displayed error
messages for all 4 NICs saying that there was no DHCP server available.
Consequently the DHCP server shut down because there was no network
connection. This went on for a few hours with continuous error messages for
all 4 NICs (identified by MAC address).
A hard reboot fixed the issue and both active NICs came up with the correct
static IPs.
Has anybody come across this? What especially puzzles me is the fact that 2
NICs were disabled (verified in the device manager).
