Not at all... we back up our data every night - However, restoring an image
of the system partition is, I'm guessing, very much faster than a re-install
and restoring the data from tape.
Would you happen to know if deleting the log files will work?

Are you saying your most recent backup is this 5 week old image ?

5 weeks ago I created an image of our SBS 2003 Standard SP2 R2.
Drive C has the operating system
Drive D has the Exchange MDBData directory.
Would I be right in thinking that if I restore Drive C and delete the log
files in the MDBDDate directory all will be well with Exchange?
Many thanks
Richard
