Hello Todd,
Thank you for your email.
After analyze your log file I find the following error:
7/26/2007 18:01:09 W3SVC1 192.168.0.11 GET
/exchange/abuse/Drafts/RE:+test+email.EML Cmd=open 80 todd 68.3.235.173
Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+7.0;+Windows+NT+6.0;+SLCC1;+.NET+CLR+2.0.50727
;+Media+Center+PC+5.0;+.NET+CLR+3.0.04506;+InfoPath.2) 404 0 0 1883 830
Please help me to gather the IIS log again when you reply email via
Terminal (http://localhost/exchange). I want to compare the success and
fail log files.
Based on my further research, I suggest we try the following steps to see
if we can resolve this issue:
I. Clean IE cache on client computer:
1. On client computer, please delete the Temporary Internet Files:
Delete all file under C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files\
2.Then, delete the History for Internet Explorer.
3. Test this issue.
II. There is a known issue about Trend Micro eManager product with an
anti-spam filter on this issue. Therefore, I suggest you disable any
anti-spam and anti-virus software on SBS and client computer. Then test
this issue.
III. If the issue persists, please try to do clean boot on SBS and client
computer at same time to narrow down this issue:
To clean boot the problematic computer, please use the steps below:
a. Click Start, click Run, and then in the Open box, type "MSCONFIG"
(without the quotation marks). Click OK.
b. In the System Configuration Utility (MSConfig) window, click to select
the Selective Startup button.
c. Click to clear the check mark from the "Load startup items" below
Selective Startup.
d. Click the Services tab, click to check the "Hide All Microsoft Services"
box, and remove all the check marks from the remained Non-Microsoft
Services. Please note that the Exchange services could be marked as
non-Microsoft. Please do not disable those services.
e. Click OK to close the MSConfig window. Click Yes when you are asked to
restart your computer in order to enable the changes.
f. After restarting, please check whether this issue will reoccur.
If we cannot resolve the issue after we perform the above steps, please
kindly help me collect some information for further investigation:
1. Please try to create a new user account with mailbox, does the new user
account with the same OWA issue?
2. Please try to access the OWA on SBS thru http://SBSname/exchange, do you
get same issue?
3. Please create a test account for me, and let me know your OWA URL. I
want to test from my side.
Hope these steps will give you some help.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)
