I was just reading about the SBSMigration.com option, but I also just read
that it is recommended to NOT use the SBS media to install the baseline OS
for the temp and new servers.... which isn't an option for me.
Couldn't I just do the following:
1. Backup existing server using NTBackup
2. Installed same OS and patches, same name and IP, etc on new box
3. Boot to Directory Services Restore Mode and restore System State from NT
Backup
4. Reboot to normal mode
5. Restore Exchange and User Files from NTBackup?

If you do a search of this and other related resources you'll find that a
swing migration (www.sbsmigration.com) is often recommended. Also remember
that you can't move an OEM license only retail or open license.

What is the easiest/safest way to move Win2k3 SBS from one machine to a
new, replacement machine? It needs to retain the same server name and
domain name and there are about 25 users in AD and exchange.
