Hi,
The following equipment is in use:
Small Business Server 2003 Standard Edition
SP2 recently applied by Windows Update.
Backup to Ultrium LTO tape streamer has worked faultlessly prior to SP2 update and other update patches.

The operation did not successfully complete.
I have got the end user to check the tapes and she has confirmed the write protect tab is in the write enabled position. I have also checked that the removable storage and shadow copy services are on (they both weren't, but after starting them the backup still fails when a manual backup is done) with the message:
What is going on, the backup logs were fine until that last couple of days??
Server has been restarted since the errors first occurred and still makes noi difference?
Any help appreciated.
Siv
