Hi Jeremy,.
Thank you for posting back.
Since Robert is now OOF, I'm backing up his posts.
Actually, we've reported this bug to Windows Vista, and the problem is now
being processed. Hopefully, there will be a Hotfix in the near future.
I hope the above info helps.
If you have further questions or update, please feel free to post back.
Sincerely,
Bill Peng

Robert,
The second process works. The only problem is the .TIF file needs to be
copied from outlook to the desktop, then right click and choose edit,
Auto Adjust, then Print.this
This is much more laborious for the user than the old way: clicking on
FAX.tif and hitting Print. Is there any way to get it back to working
way?corresponding
Thanks,
Jeremy

Hello Jeremy,
Thanks for posting in our newsgroup.
From your description, I know that your issue is that the fax files
formatted TIF show as landscape and print incorrectly. If I am off-base,
please don't hesitate to let me know.
We can take the following steps to troubleshoot this issue:
1. When printing the TIF file, click Options which lies at the top of the
Cancel button.
2. In the Print Settings, click Printer Properties.
3. Under the Layout tab, we can choose Portrait in the Orientation drop
down list. Or in the dialogue, check the Portrait.
4. Click OK to test the issue again.
If the issue still occurs on your side, we can try to use the "Auto
Adjust"
feature to edit the format of the TIF file.
1. Please right click on the FAX.TIF file on the Windows Vista, and then
select Edit.
2. On the open window, please click on the "Auto Adjust" button on the
right side of the panel.
3. After adjusting the format automatically, please click on the Print
button again to check if this TIF file can be displayed properly.
If there is any help I can provide on this issue, please feel free to let
me know and I will do my best to help you until it is resolved.
1. Does this issue occur on all the TIP files (Fax file) or the specific
Tip file?
2. Would you please send the problematic tip file me directly for the
further test?
Please send the information to v-robeli@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with subject:
39906055-Faxes always print in landscape mode when using Vista.
I am looking forward to hear from you.
If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Best regards,
Robert Li(MSFT)

<Does anyone else have this problem?

<Our setup:
<Faxes come into the SBS and are forwarded to a public Faxes folder.

<Simple enough. Everything works great except vista's "Windows Photo

<Any ideas on how to fix this?
