Re: RWW broke but when I connect from inside LAN, then it works fr

Hi Dave,

Thank you for posting here.

Do you mean that only internal and SBS itelf is able to access
https://public.domain.name/remote to access RWW?

At this point, after you forward port 443/80/4125 to SBS server from the
router, please check whether you're able to telnet port 80/443 to the SBS
Server from the internet. To do so:

1. On the internet computer, launch CMD.
2. Run the following command:

telnet public.domain.name 80

and

telnet public.domain.name 443

3. If it returns a blank window, the the port is opened and this can be a
server side issue.

If you're not able to telnet these 2 port, please gather the following info
and send them to v-robeli@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with subject: SBS Public Newsgroup:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=56FC92EE-A71A-4C73-

2. Install it, run MBExplorer (Metabase Explorer)
3. Right click the "LM" node and choose "Export to file".
4. Specify a file name, specify the password and finish the export.
5. Send the file and the password to us.

Info 2. Screenshot of the page when you tries to access RWW

Info 3. Your public domain name.

Thanks for your time and we look forward to your update.

Hi there
Iam trying to connect to the server from RWW (Outlook OWA works fine)
but
it dosent work "Cannot connect to client...please check network
settings".

On the actual server I can connect to itself ok using the web outside
address https://mail.client.com/remote. When I do this I can then
connect
from the outside WAN to the server only

Any ideas
