Re: Secured ASP pages do not work once I connect to Domain

Restarting the server is always a good idea, but I think we are going to need a bit more information on the issue. For example...

When you say "the computers can not access .aspx pages", what do you mean? Do you get any kind of error and if yes, what is the exact description? Are there any errors listed in the event viewer? Where are these pages located? Internally on the SBS server or on the Internet?

Windows SBS SP2, first server on new network

I have a problem with .aspx pages not loading correctly. I installed the
server and setup DHCP. The computers not connected to the Domain had access
to the internet and the aspx pages. Once I joined the computer to the domain,
they no longer had access to these secured internet pages.

I saw that there was some discussions about ASP.Net configuration in IIS and
I checked all that and may some changes, but I still am not able to get the
pages to display correctly.

I do not need to have internet traffic from client computers going through
IIS since I have a Broadband connection with two firewall routers and only
one network card on the server, and they get the gateway information from the
DCHP service.

When I issued the "iisreset /noforce" command the event log only gave the
following source ASP.NET 2.0.50727.0 and I do not see any ASP.NET 1. being
started. There are some items in the web sites that have the ASP.NET 2 listed
and it is greyed out (WSUS Administration is one for example) and I can not
change it.

Should I restart the server and see if that fixes my problem, or is there
anything else that I should check?

James
